news11.11.2005Sorry if y'all thought we were broken up. We've been holed up in the practice space getting ready to record, an event that should take place soon after the New Year. This will be our first release with bass player Jessica, and we'll be committing to tape some new tunes as well as familiar favorites. Whee! Meanwhile, we'll play a few shows... so watch that space to the right, now. 08.04.2005We have more new pictures up! Our undying gratitude and a million dollars go to Allan Shorter, who got himself all dirty craning around to get the good shots. Okay, just kidding about the million dollars. But they do look lovely. The talented Sean Plemons has put some very nice photos he took up on his web site from 7/22 as well as our show on 7/30 at Common Grounds. Thanks Sean! There are also a lot of other cool band photos and art up there, so you should check it out. We're once again venturing afield this month, this time to the capital city to rock out the Beta Bar with the very nice Tomorrow We Will Be Victorious. Wish us luck and good van karma. 06.10.2005We've been taking a mini-break after playing a bunch of Gainesville shows, and are set to journey once again to Jacksonville next weekend (Saturday June 18 at 10PM, Jack Rabbits). We also have a gig at Eddie C's tomorrow night that is sure to be both fun and educational. A shout-out to our girl on the bass, who just graduated from UF College of Pharmacy. That's right, she is now DOCTOR Jessica Sutly, so when Andrea goes all Prince and screams out "DOC-tuh!" before the bass solo, you know it's not just a stage name. 01.05.2005Happy New Year, y'all. We started ours off with a show in Jacksonville, the beginning of fulfilling a resolution to do more out-of-town gigs. We played to a sparse but appreciative Tuesday night crowd. The other bands (Far From Eden, Shameful Display and One Last Stand) were lovely, talented and friendly. After hearing many horror stories about the boundless dick-iness of Jack Rabbits' staff, we were pleasantly surprised by having them be quite nice to us. Come out, help support us and represent Gainesville! 10.07.2004Well, here it is: Two Finger Suicide's new and improved home in the virtual world. Sarah just had surgery on her kick drum knee after taking a nasty spill roller-skating (and no, she wasn't applying for a job at Sonic). So we are taking a couple of weeks off. Plans are in the works for a January east coast tour and some shows around Florida, and we will will be making more site updates in the next few weeks, especially in the merch and guest book areas. Stay tuned! |
